The Idea
It's actually an old concept, but with Panzerparadies.de, I am pursuing a different goal. I want to create a platform where turtle keepers can exchange ideas and knowledge. The focus is on information that is freely accessible and can be shared by anyone. Everyone interested in turtles should be able to find and share knowledge here.
Secure Software and No Ads – A Platform by Keepers for Keepers
Security and an ad-free experience are also central elements of Panzerparadies.de. Many well-known forums and platforms are outdated or overloaded with ads, which significantly disrupts the user experience. It is time to change this. At Panzerparadies.de, we rely on a secure software solution that ensures user privacy and security. There are no hidden costs, no data collection for marketing purposes, and no commercial interests that could hinder open exchange. The platform is meant to be a place for free and open exchange.
Why It's Time to Rethink
The turtle-keeping community needs more than just groups on commercial platforms. It needs places where knowledge is collected, structured, and made available in the long term. That is why I decided to register expired domains and redirect them to Panzerparadies.de. This is an attempt to create something that will hopefully last. This way, I can ensure that relevant knowledge is not lost but is instead available in a central, accessible location.
A Place for Community and Exchange
If there is interest, there is also the possibility of setting up sub-forums for local meetups or clubs. These could serve as additional spaces for personal exchange and networking. In this way, we can further strengthen the community and actively promote knowledge about turtle care and husbandry.
